BUOY BELLS - “Haunting Sounds and Magic Memories”

Outer Banks Bell
Since 1975, these unique Buoy Bells have been handcrafted on the coast of Maine by the Davidson family. These are the sounds that Jim Davidson lived with, trusted and grew to love during his years spent working on and around the ocean waters. They are sure to evoke similar feelings in all who hear them. Made from recycled steel, each Buoy Bell design includes a distinctive wind catcher.
The Outer Banks Bell - Surfcasting, beach combing and beautiful sunrises belie the treacherous fury the Atlantic Ocean can visit upon the Outer Banks. The hardy people on these tenuous strips of land depend on bell buoys to safeguard their way through inlets and dangerous shoals.
The Ship's Bell
The Ship’s Bell - Gently catching a breeze, three delightful sounds echo a century's tradition in the use of ship's bells for signaling, keeping time and even providing alarm. Total length is 15." The windcatcher at the bottom is the shape of a bell; a nicely bronze powder coating protects the bell for outdoors!
